... so there are, thanks Tallisman. :) I had looked through the Default theme folder for any new .pngs but didn't see any. I'm off to find out what they need to look like.

Deric isn't this exactly what's been done? ie 'adjust selected track fx parameter 1' etc

think deric means to have a save file that automatically setups the assigments in any project whatever fx are in it, rather than sifting through each proj to setup assingments for every fx/track sensible suggestions, am sure the devs notice that.

Sorry for the double post - I've calmed down a bit and had a little think: Parameter-to-controller feedback would be a pretty awesome addition to this current set-up. Using this in combination with rotary encoders, track/fx-templates and so forth could provide some really great workflow enhancements. Regardless, I'm really excited about this development as is. Any else is a bonus :)

I just loaded up a 1176LN (UAD) and noticed I could add FX Param 'Meter GR' (Gain Reduction - it's a Comp plug) which doesn't do anything but I was thinking... How cool would it be if we could have a knob whose 'value indicator line' represented a real-time needle-dial/VU value of, in this case the Comps Gain Reduction? Or this could even be a small horizontal VU meter in the FX param field MCP/TCP)? Or even a vertical VU adjacent to the FX param controls? (MCP) We'd rarely ever have to open an FX's GUI... Imagine that? Working from the mixer... checking, and setting levels and values of plugs with visual feedback right there! If we have graphical display in there (EQ, etc) that would be amazing.

...and I like big knobs, can we please have an option to make the Send knobs large like the FX Param knobs - or do I just need a different image for the current Send knob?

How about 'some click-option' so that when clicking on an FX in the Insert (MCP) rack, instead of opening the plugs GUI (and/or), it shows the currently-selected plugs FX Params (i.e at the top of the FX Param list). i.e. Instead of this 'scrolling list of all FX Params for all FX on that track'? Edit: i.e. Currently you see all the tracks FXs' FX params all at once (if the MCP height is high enough) - the FX Params for the first Insert slot on that track are always at the top of the (FX Param) list.

I'd like some grouped display i.e. when 'Show FX insert' and 'Show FX params' are both enabled, they should be grouped. Currently the effect slots are on top (this is where you can bypass individual effects). Its kinda weird that the params are lower and that they are not grouped per effect. So you get something like: ReaEQ Low Gain Low Q Band Gain Band Q Band Freq ReaComp Threshold Ratio Attack Release Also, the new actions should be able to overlap with other already assigned MIDI CC;s i.e. only when you select the track, the midi CCs target the FX parameters. If you dont select any track, they could be used for something else. In this way i can use my pan knobs on my control surface for plugin stuff as well as pans Yves

I'd love it of mouse-wheel worked on the knobs as it does on faders - i.e.: hover over knob and mouse-wheel up or down to adjust.
