Destructive Track Punch in 7.2

Basically, I LOVE IT!!!! I and my new mixing partner, Ed Carr just finished a Werner Herzog Film ('Rescue Dawn') in which we used PT 7.2 as our recorder for both Predubs and Final. All I can say is that the recorder (48 channels) was FLAWLESS. I realize that many don't see the need for a dedicated recorder any longer, but for those of us who do, I cheerfully welcome this new functionality. PS Clint Eatwood's new film, 'Flags Of Our Fathers' has also just finished using 7.2 in this way ... also, without incident. (BTW, Great sound design Mr. Maynes)

A have also been using 7.2 for dubbing home entertainment projects and have been very happy with it. Not being one to pull punches when it comes to new release problems, this is one that I think most post people will be very happy with. The new video features with Mojo have so far been flawless and some of the new automation features have made my job much easier. Great job to the design team and thanks for listening to us working stiffs.
