CRASH: Is there a backup file somewhere?

I've been in a recording session for the last 3 hours. Stupid me did not perform any save functions. Reaper just crashed on me. I am using ver 3.03. Does Reaper store a back-up file somewhere? I see all the recorded files in the project directory and 1 backup file, but that backup file doesn't display all the newly recorded files when I open it. I am so embarrassed right now. This is a paid session and it's not looking good to my client. I don't know what to do. This never happened to me before. Please help.

you should be able to drag the wav files in and select 'move to source preferred position' - it's in a menu item somewhere.

I'm feelin' bad for you Funky.....sorry man! I gotta couple ideas for your next seesion though.....ooooh never mind....I'm sure you're already gonna do that from now on!

i've had that happen once or twice; i may have a set of conditions that reproduce it, which means it should be a relatively easy fix. out of interest, what soundcard do you use? m-audio?

Just completed another intensive 3 hour recording session with the client using 2.58. Reaper performed like a champ. No crashes anywhere.
