That's what I tought, we're using Avid Express DV when it's possible but it's hard to manage and we have to do a clone of the show time code burning before we digitize it and it's a lot of work just because imovie is cheap... Is there a "upgrade" of imovie that we pay for and that may works??? Have you tried FCexpress? Is it working well?

Hello. I am not very well versed on video stuff, but does anyone know if the upcoming Avid Express Free will have this limitation or any others? Otherwise that may be the ideal capture solution at the right price.
