audio off sync half way through movie!

I'm trying to create an svcd backup of Kate & Leopold DVD using DVD2SVCD (and CCE 2.5SP as the encoder). The ripped vob's all play perfect, but after done encoding, the audio gets off sync by about 2 seconds about half way through the movie! I've tried everything to no avail...I noticed in the dvd2svd log that it switched to IVTC at some point. Could this be causing the problem, and if so, what can be done? It's weird because the movie plays back without a hickup anywhere, just starts having audio sync problems way into the movie. Any help would be appreciated! Mike
