I'm a former Athlon64 pc user (via chipset, asus k8v) and I switched over to a PowerMac G5 for my music machine. I'm about to build a small form factor gaming PC from Shuttle and I'm wondering if anyone has gotten good/bad results with the nVidia nForce3 Ultra chipset and a digi002. Having the small pc could be nice to take out of my studio with my 002 for recording live stuff without having to lug my G5, so I'm wondering how the chipset has worked out. Here's the link to the barebones set I'm looking at: I've searched the forum and gotten mixed results on nVidia chipsets so I thought it would be nice to see everyones comments on this issue in one place. Thanks, -Kevin
Awesome, thats great to know. I had a nForce2 AthlonXP system for a while and those were great, but for some reason it seems that VIA was the way to go over nforce3 for Athlon 64's. Anyone out there have any problems with the nforce3 250/ultra chipset? If not I'll be buying a shuttle to connect to my 27inch LCD tv. I just like the idea that it will be there for my ProTools needs on the road. -Kevin
