Sorry if this is obvious but.... I have dutifully upgraded Logic on the basis that 'one day' I'll learn it. The day has come. But my manual is v2.5 and here I am using 5.3! The question is: How do you do audio editing with the usual techniques found in PT and (now) DP 3.1 - ie edge trims, cross-fades, etc all from the mouse? In fact, can you actually do any audio editing in Logic/TDM from the perspective of a PT user? Thanks for any pointers or on-line references, whatever. Lumpo
To trim, you just drag the lower corners of a region. To xfade, you just use the xfade tool and select the regions (use the ESC key to select tools). Or you can manually set the start and end fades for each region by clicking on the region and adjusting the fade settings in the parameter window.
