My 2002 S60 T5 tiptronic jerks forward when i select drive if i take my foot off the brake quickly. If i leave my foot on the brake i can feel the engine move, could this be an engine mounting? The engine steady has been replaced but i can see the thin bits of rubber splitting...

Providing the engagement is not unduely harsh this is normal. You need to hold on the footbrake to prevent forward (or reverse) creep. Paul.
