OSX scrollwheel behavior is backwards

Problem: scrollwheel behavior is reversed Steps to reproduce: hold shift-scroll up or down Expected behavior: I would expect to scroll down to move back in time and to scroll up to move forward in time (incidentally, this is what you get if you mouse over the scrollbar at the bottom of the edit window) OSX 10.5 reaper 3.06 thanks

Not really a bug, more like a default behavior. You can go to top menu Actions > Show action list.., and create your own scrolling behavior where one of the available parameters is modify mousewheel: negative, this gives you what you want :)

wow; that worked. :s can you explain a bit more about what's going on? i would not necessarily infer from your description of what to do (looking at the picture, basically) what is happening. (?) thanks, p
