Jacek- Give us more info on your setup: USB or serial? what type of midi interface... some are much more problematic IF you are usign a serial adapter, which one and what driver version? Speer- If you need you modem, then you are forced into USB land, which I have found fairly unsatisfactory. The Unitor usb is the most flexible/reliable.

Or keep MIDI serial and plug a USB modem only when you need it...

Try the USB manager from OS 9.1 Good luck & let folks know if it helps.
