automation bug: crashes reaper every time for me!!

this happens in pre08 as well as the official 3.06 version. ------------------------------- enable volume automation on a track insert an empty item turn ripple editing on turn on "envelope points move with items" make sure "add envelope points is enabled" add an automation point on the volume automation BEFORE the empty item try to move the item ------------------------------- reaper immediately freezes and crashes for me everytime. i think exactly when you enable ripple editing is part of the cause. if i enable ripple editing before i insert the empty item, then the new item has automation points on each side of the item and everything works fine. if i enable ripple editing AFTER inserting the empty item, then there are no new automation points on either side of the new item and reaper crashes as soon as i try to move it. also if you insert the automation point after the item (instead of before the item), when you try to move the item reaper automatically adds an automation point to the beginning of the item but not at the end (but at least it doesn't crash in this case). ...can anyone else please confirm this?
