How recieve Absynth as Audio not just midi?

How do I receive an audio signal from the absynth using Prolools Le and an audio Media 3 Card. Right now i am only receiving midi data. Can anyone help?

Can it do DirectConnect with PT? That's what I used for Max/MSP. Paul.

Sorry cant help, BUT Ive had no luck trying to configure Absynth into PT via MIDI. Can you help? Im using 1.0.2 and Im unable to upgrade right now. (just moved, no internet service from home) 1.0.2 doesnt support directconnect. How else can it be done? Someone told me it couldnt w/o it. This doesnt sound right. I was able to see signal at one point but no sound. Can someone give a step by step? Please. Oh, have you tried recording in Absynth and importing into PT. Kind of limited though.

Severe- I'm so new to this I can't help anyone yet. However, I have a friend who teaches Protools at a college who's going to help me get a handle on this. Are there any experienced PT users who can help?.

There are two ways to do it: - If the software supports DirectConnect, then you can route it to a channel in PTLE. - You can get a card that does ADAT or SP/DIF and then use it as your "mac audio out" connecting the optical or ADAT to the DIGI001 optical or ADAT. That's why I asked about DirectConnect. It's the only "software" way of doing it. Paul.
