OK, what should I get? I am looking for a suggestion and I cant bear to weed through the 5,000 posts on it. there's gotta be a great value a/d/a (stereo) someone could recommend.

Get a panasonic 3700, the converters are pristine. Make everything sound nice, SDIF, AES, audio I/O LOOK HOW
