Reapeak Folders

I've noticed recently that when I go to empty out my reapeaks folder, each reapeak file is in a folder of its own, each with a random number and or letter. I can't seem to find how to stop this behavior in the preferences menu. Any ideas? Thanks

Not sure if you can, this was done to spead up peak drawing (don't ask me how) ;) I for one would LOVE to be able to choose to store my peak files with the song BUT in a SEPARATE folder to the audio :) It's really annoying browsing audio and leaving behind peak files everywhere too! ;(

Hi Compoundz, only thing you can do is go to "Options -> Preferences -> Media" and untick "Store all peak caches in alternate path:" They will be stored then in your project folder and named after their media pendants. To get around the annoyance that peak- and media-files are mixed in the explorer list, just click in the header of the "Type" column in the explorer list instead of the "Name" column so all files get sorted by extensions instead of filenames. -Data

Mr data, I think he is referring to the new behaviour in 3.13 where peak folders when stored in the alternate path are now put in to folders. Not sure how the foldering speeds things up but that's the reason given in the version notes. :)
